pitch changes on exs

Can anyone explain in simple terms:
How can u work out tempo alterations within the EXS using the pitch control?
For example does a
'50 cent' addition result in a semi-tone change..if you get the idea?
Thanks in advance..
Sam.

If you're working with a loop and trying to get it to play to your
tempo just create a sequence that starts on the first beat and goes
for the amount of bars the loop has. Then you cycle this sequence in
the arrange, turn on the metronome and adjust the coarse/fine tune
until the loop matches.

also, you can just open the instrument editor, click the E for the
loop file you want, now it will be in you audio window, drag it to
the arrange, set the locators to the length of the loop (not the
length of the audio region, but the length of the loop as it is
supposed to be) in bars and choose adjust length to locators from the
functions -> object menu. and boom there you go.

Cheers
Hans
