Now I 'refresh' the instrument by loading a dummy one with no samples
in it (loads very fast) - then reloading the edited instrument.
Could this 'memory problem' be contributing to another feature I have
discovered? When I import an audio mixer layer from another song's
environment all my exs instruments get all scrambled? I have to save
the scrambled song as a new file & then re-import the EXS24 layer
from the original song's environment. Perhaps all this is sorted out
in the newer verions of logic? - I'm still using 4.8
