EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

ESX24 & SampleCell Instruments FOREVER TO LOAD !

I have over 100 Sample Cell CDs on an external firewire drive. I put an
alias for a couple of CDs in my "sampler intruments" folder in my Logic
folder and the ESX24 was able to load them up nicely without any problems. I
got so happy that I put aliases for each of my over 100 CDs into the
"sampler intruments" folder. Now when I boot up Logic it hangs FOREVER on
the "scanning sampler instruments" section of it's start-up. This sucks
really bad. Is there something that I am doing wrong? HELP!
My setup:
Powerbook G4 Titanium 400mhz 256 Ram 10gig internal, 80 gig firewire
external.
Logic Audio Platinum 4.7, I have devoted 125 megs of Ram to Logic.
Is there a seperate program that converts to .esx files?
That would be good.
