EXS24 Newbie

Hi to all,

I'm new to the EXS24, I'd like to know how to create (program) drum
sequences. How do you use the sampler editor?

I thank you all for taking some of your time to answer these
questions,

 Juan

Welcome! Since you specify EXS, I assume you have already been using
logic for a while then?

The same way you do with regular midi instruments in Logic. Just load
up some EXS instruments with drum sounds mapped out and sequence/record
away as you would in Logic with midi. Make sure your EXS track is
selected though if you want to hear the notes as you are editing them
in the matrix or other midi editors

That's a whole other part of the ballpark. It doesn't really have
anything to do with recording or editing drum parts with the EXS. It is
designed to do destructive editing on audio files. Basically, double
click on an audio file and it will open the sample editor. From the
available local menus, you will find a selection of the destructive DSP
processes it offers.

I don't know if my answers are of any help to you. If not, you might
want to try and narrow down the focus of your questions and be more
specific.
