I suspect the audio files to be at another samplerate than what you're using
in Logic.
The EXS will play back files correctly but Logic won't (and the EXS "E"
button does nothing else but load the file into Logic's Sample Edit).
I recommend converting samples to a common samplerate (44.1 or 48 kHz,
depending on what you're using in general) before you load them into the
EXS at all.

Setting up a drum set - hihat cutoff

2004-08-09 by revDAVE

I am attempting to create a drum set in the EXS24.

I have a short high hat sample and a long high hat sample on two different
keys. I would like to set things up so that hitting the short sample note
after hitting the long sample note - will cut off the previous long sample
note ( from the other key) - ( just like a real drummer would do)...

How can I set this up?
