Jules,

According to others on the list it's a Logic problem as other DAW MIDI/Audio
sequencers do not exhibit the excessive and/or erratic disk usage.
There was a thread on this subject a couple of months ago.

Search GMANE using "Disk Usage" (minus quotes) and look for this heading.

One of the recent threads mentioned disabling "journaling" on the audio
drive.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
