EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I haven't been able to convert Akai CDROMS with the EXS24. I re-installed
the software and was able to convert part of an AKAI CDROM but not the whole
disc. 
With Battery I am able to access and load all partitions of an Akai CDROM
which saves the sounds to the computers HD as you load them.

But not with the EXS24?
What would be the logical steps to problem solve this. I have many akai
CDROMs going unused because of this.

Silly question, but did you go into EXS24 window and click on "options" 
in the upper right? Did the "waiting for akai disc" window come up 
okay?

Yes. The problem being at this very point in the procedure. The akai disc
goes into the CDROM drive and doesn't read.

Roman,

It should work, but I suggest you go out and invest some money on the
sample conversion program CDXtract. It makes AKAI import etc. an
absolute breeze.

I have this problem also at the moment after a hardrive went down and I have reformated and loaded on Logic 5.2 but still have not got this to work.
Anyone else out there who can offer a solution?? It really is quite annoying to say the least!
