when i installed logic 6.4.1 for os x, there is now duplicate files of the same instruments.
only difference seems to be that the file name has ECO.exs tagged on the end. does
anyone have any info on which files i can get rid of?

thanks

I had this same question when I upgraded to 6.4.1.
"Eco" is apparently an abbreviation for "economy".
Unless you are severely pressed for CPU I think you
will want to use the other one.

Don't get rid of the sounds with eco connected to them because those
sounds use less CPU then the sounds that are the duplicates of them. If
your pressed for CPU power use the sounds with eco connected, otherwise
use the sounds that are without the eco tag. Don't erase any of
them.....B.D.
