EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Has anyone successfully bought a Roland format sample CD and converted to EXS24? I was 
reading on the Chicken Systems site some things that made me think something might get 
lost in the translation. I am also wondering about how time consuming that would be!

I've done a few of these, using both Translator and CDXtract, and they 
generally work well. Most older sample libraries didn't incorporate much 
cross switching or cross fading due to memory limitations, so the 
translations are pretty straight forward.
