EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Does anyone have a G4 Mac that has errors converting Akai 
samples? I have tried to convert from many different Akai CD's 
and am continuously getting errors. The errors take the form of 
chunks of one side of a stereo sample missing. I've tried to 
convert from many different CD drives and get the same 
problem. However these missing chunks are never in the same 
place......
