Multichannel setup of the EXS?

Multichannel setup of the EXS?

2005-03-31 by custa_1200

I am wondering how to use the sampler in multichannel mode. I assume it's the best way
to set up drum kits in the sample. It would be nicer for different parts, ie snare, bass, hats
etc to come out on different channels to independantly control.

BTW am new to the list so be easy on me ;)

Thanx people

1. Set the Multi EXS up on a track.
2. In the EXS editor, do your routing to the EXS's multiple outputs for
your sample patch..
3. In the Environment window, create AUX tracks for all of the EXS
inputs you will be using.
4. On each Aux track, you have a box to select its input. You will see
in the menu Instrument # (whichever track the EXS is on) and this should
then have a list like EXS 1, EXS 2, EXS 3, etc.. Just assign em as you
set em up in the editor youre good to go..

Hope that wasnt too confusing its still early hehe.
