EXS limits the visible samles to 30,000 instruments.   Really annoying.   I 
have a massive library and always end up shuttling sounds around as I need 
them.

Thanks for replying. I don't seem to have nearly that many.
I think my problem is that I am new to EXS and I don't have the correct hierarchy of folders 
and audio files that correspond to the.exs instruments in the proper places.

I am trying to get it all figured out. Thanks for your suggestion.

You could try running the free EXS Manager demo downloadable from:

http://www.redmatica.com/Site/Pages/Download.php

It's got me out of trouble a few times.

Let's stop and think about this for a minute.

Now, why would Markus be annoyed? Does he get a kick out of posting  
silly things?

Or could it be that he runs into this  limitation, and maybe there's  
something you don't know?

is it possible that this is a very real issue for everyone who has  
the Vienna Symphonic Library (the full version)?
