I was able to fix this last time by changing the latency and a few other things but this time it does not seem to be working. can anyone give me some advice on how to reduce the delay time between note down and sample sound output? Many thanks its driving me mad! Fred FRED SCHOFIELD 143 Lavenham Road, Southfields London SW18 5EP Tel: 0208 874 5937 Mob: 07957 260 652 Fredschofield@... Http://www.myspace.com/fredschofield Hi Fred I had a similar problem a few years ago now. If your running windows XP this won't apply but if it is older versions such as Win 98 then make sure that your hardrive has the DMA option set to on (you can do this under control panel/system etc). All the best Darren
