EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

OK here goes...
               I'm an experienced Logic User.  I use the EXS mostly from what 
clients bring in in project folders and the factory pre-sets ..not a whole lot of 
digging into it...Last week or so Logic had a hiccup and crashed..Ever Since 
then many of my preset  EXS instruments do not play--Logic cannont find the 
samples. And samples stored (as fas as I can judge, correctly) in my clients 
project folder will not open either ( or they open with the sample as a pure 
sine tone or white noise)..My Project manager sees the sampler instruments 
and the samples but no matter what find function I use within the project 
manager it cannot find the unresolved samples..it see's them there in the 
project manager but  they will not load  into the sampler instruments..so none 
of my clients EXS sample instruments work--some of the EXS instruments ( 
but not all) also load up witha "MISSING" next to the sampler instrument title 
inside the EXS GUI... What the hell is going on here? Can anyone shed some 
light on this? All the time that this goes unresolved is costing me business.  
Any Help would be greatly appreciated!

I've had my share of EXS problems in the past few
months and most of the sample developers complain that
EXS is very fussy about file location etc. EXS
Manager, by Redmatica, has been suggested dozens of
times here for problems like you are having. Your
problem is exactly what it was created for and I'm
sure it would get you back on your feet.

Praises for EXS Manager from this end too, if you add stuff all the time
it's a must have. The amount of time you save by having all your stuff
linked properly mount up considerably over time.

While I agree with the other responses about how useful EXSManager is for
organizing EXS samples, I think that your particular problem sounds like it
has more to do with corrupted directory structure on your hard drive. I
recommend a utility like DiskWarrior to see if that's the case.
