EXS-24 can use SDII, Wav or Aiff files on the Mac
Still sounds like you have a naming issue, try editing the keymap
to see what the names of files the Keymap needs then compare the names
to wav files.

[exs] Re: "can't find file..."

do i edit the keymap via the instrument editor?  if so, that too is a 
problem, it doesn't seem to see the *.exs files brought over from the 
CD where it sees all the others.  The exs files do show up as 
possible selections in the sampler window.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
