EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hello

I have the Kontakt2 library (2 DVDs), and I have CDXtract 4.2.1
on Mac OS 10.3.8. Does anyone know if CDXtract can convert this
format to EXS24? The CDXtract site implies that it can, but I
can't get it to work, and I haven't had any answer from their
tech support. I am familiar with how the program works, as I
converted my whole Roland S700 series library, but with the
Kontakt disc, it seems to freeze on both my G5, and also on a
PC.

Any help would be appreciated. Otherwise, if anyone has the
Sampler Instruments for this, that would be even better!

Hi Murray,

I don't think it can.
It does Kontakt 1.5 I think but not K2 (not that I know).
I have converted a lot the other way around (www.pianoattack.com).
K2 is so complex and versatile that I wouldn't know why you want this  
anyway.

Why does'nt EXS read Kontakt2? I just saw the specs of Chickensys translator and have not seen kontakt2 as source there. However, if it's gonna come it will be probably from Chickensys.com Why don't you give him a mail ar a call?
