EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Ooookay. Made the upgrade to 7.2 to accomodate ensemble- now what was once a
stable, happy system is a mess. I have been a user since Logic 6. I had my
Sampler Instruments alias in the 6 folder and all was well in Pro 7.1. I've
even redefined paths in Project manager and now when I open projects that I
was working on before the upgrade, sounds can't be found that I can see in
finder. Nothing has been altered otherwise, hierarchy is the same etc.

So- what's the problem?

sampler Instruments folders should be in

Library/Application Support/Logic (factory in root should be installed),
Your own or 3rd party in your users Library/Application Support/Logic

Have you checked to see if your alias is broken?  It might have been  
damaged by the installation and need to be re-established.

If that doesn't work, try putting the alias in the sampler  
instruments folder in the library.

Repairing permissions could help.
