Stuck Notes in EXS 24 mk II

Hi,

I'm getting stuck notes in EXS 24 Mk II. The library in question is rather
large. 6GB. My ram is rather limited. 2GB. Could this be a source of the
stuck notes? It doesn't pop or click and plays beautifully but some notes
are always one when I'm playing very quickly.

The manufacturer of the library said they've never had this problem before
and it's been around long enough that I believe them.

Additionally, if I use Logic's stock Yamaha Grand piano library and play, no
stuck notes. If I switch the library out for the much larger library after
it's recorded, I can hear the stuck notes as they often surface as
dissonance during complex passages.

I'm not sure what to do.

They library is being streamed off a 3 drive, SATA raid-0 array.

Any input would be welcomed.

All the best,
Petros

Sounds like some kind of CPU, memory or disk bottleneck. (I know, that's
not very helpful). But have you tried reducing the polyphony setting in the
EXS instrument? When you play quickly, polyphony can add up and overwhelm
the system.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
