Hello,
I just noticed that there\ufffds no projektmanager in Logic8 anymore.
Anyone has experience in how to read in a huge EX libary and have EX know
where to find the missing/related Samples for the instruments?
My system needs about 4 minutes on startup to scann all EX instruments
(about 300GB) and will have problems on finding releted samples when I\ufffdm
loading an instrument. (there about 2 TB harddrives connected to the
system).

Hi Carsten,

Get EXSManager from Redmatica.
It will re-link all your EXS instruments - about 
100 times faster than Logic's Project Manager 
ever could.

One more thing...
You could keep Logic 7 on your system, just to 
use Project Manager - if you don't want to buy 
EXSManager.
However, for the amount of samples you mentioned, 
I think you *should* get EXSManager.
