EXS and velocity in regards to drum Mapping

EXS and velocity in regards to drum Mapping

Hey All

I have been using rex and apple loop files more lately for drums but still
would like to sweeten them with some single hits. I built a nice sounding
kit from A Discrete Drums library single hit collection, and while the
sampler is dealing with velovity splits for different velocity layers fine,
it does not respond to different velocities within the layeres themselves.
For example a snare drum which is assigned to play from velocity 40 to 80
plays at the same volume throughout the velocity range. Can anyone share
the correct way to enable the sample to play correctly with regard to the
velocity? Thanks!

Hi Matt,

Check the "level via velocity" setting on the front panel - to the
right of the filter section.
