creating new instruments

Hi Im wanting to create new instruments in exs 24 using existing samples
from my hard drive and want to edit the samples without
changing the original samples . The new instrument i want to add to my
existing exs library without creating endless sampler instrument folders
which is what happens in edit>instrument>copy audio files .The other way iVe
found is after selecting sample into the eygroup to copy the sample in the
audio editor and then you have to reload the sample into the zone/keygroup
.Im thinking there must be an easy way to save the new instrument with its
related / edited sample data ?
thanks

I think the simplest thing to do is take the .exs file and associated
sample files, and move them to some type of "master folder" outside
the Sampler Instruments folder. Then tweak away and save the .exs
Instrument. Next time, do the same thing; kind of like a verison 1,
version 2 type thing.
