EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I was wondering if we could have a quick round up of what soundcards 
people are using with EXS24?

I need to get a new one as my Diamond Monstersound has a latency of 
about 750ms which is unusable for realtime playback.

Is anyone using a PC soundcard that can achieve realtime performance 
comparable to an Akai?

Particularly keen to hear from anyone using Yamaha DSP factory or 
Audiowerk 2 with LAW & ESX24

My studio is entirely virtual (except for my controller keyboard)
I'm using Audiowerk 8 with LAWP 4.5 & ESX24 (400Mhz Intel Celleron, 
256Mb RAM)  with great results ... but ... when I started using a few 
channels of audio with a few EXS24 instruments or VSTis I started 
getting overload errors.

After resarching other e-groups I changed the audio driver from 
Audiowerk (virtually no latency but it seems to be bugged) to ASIO 
and things seem to be better now (latency is just a tad)... so ...
 
beware and make sure your PC is fat with RAM and I'd recommend a SCSI 
hard drive (next on my list)

maybe LAWP 4.5.1 will sort this out.
