Factory vs Original Sounds

Friends: Does anyone know the difference between the instruments delivered on the EXS24 installation disc and the ones that come on the EXS Factory Sounds CD? After installing the Factory Sounds CD, I note that certain instruments are duplicates of those supplied with the original program disc. However the sample files these duplicate sounds use are not identical - the sounds that come with the original EXS24 installation use bigger audio files.
