Akai Convert Folder Still NO Solution

Akai Convert Folder Still NO Solution

2001-08-26 by orgeneral

Hi All
Eventhough I moved that Akai Samples folder where I want it and
created an alias in Logic folder,(deleted the word alias)
when I convert a new cd Logic creates a new Akai Samples Folder
ignoring the alias
What is the solution?
Thanks
OZ

Hi OZ,

I go ahead and let the cd convert there, and then move the contents,
to another location after each conversion, leaving the Akai Sample
folder empty and ready for the next conversion. That's the only
workaround that I know of.

Hmmm. It's been a few weeks since I last did an Akai convert but it's always
found my alias and then dumped the converted files onto another drive.
Perhaps it has to do with the exact name of the alias folder. Remember how
this was with VST plugins?
