EXS: Cut off and Resonance don't 'listen' to midi

EXS: Cut off and Resonance don't 'listen' to midi

2001-12-16 by jeroenbaar

Hello group

I have a little problem (Logic 4.72 for PC)

I am busy with a track, and right now I want to tweak the
cutoff and resonance knobs of the EXS-24 sampler for a synth part.
When I move the knobs with my mouse, in record mode, I can see the
new data in the event list.

The sliders in the 'black area', like 'glide', or pitch, or 'start'
do react in playback mode to the recorded midi they sent out in
record mode. I can see the knobs moving when I playback this part.

The knobs in the 'silver area', cutoff, resonance, drive, etc., send
midi data out, but in playback they don't react to it (nothing
happens)

I want to use the EXS24 filter because it sounds better (24 dB fat)
then the Autofilter plug-in.

I have also checked the ES-1 synth, and it does fully react to the
midi data I have recorded.

Might be a bug?. What I don't understand is: why do these EXS cutoff
and resonance knobs send midi out, but don't react to there own
data...

Someone knows more about this?

thanks & bye,

Jeroen
