Heh, yeah - wondered too as I have that one as well (since at least 5-6
years, btw). And guess what? Most of those grooves I allready recycled.
While I admit that Neil Conti plays incredibly tasteful, there's not that
much content on the CD, most tracks are relatively long and don't vary too
much, apart from the occasional snare ghostnote and some pickups/breaks at
the beginning/end.

Regards,
Sascha

I looked at the site, and I wondered if any of you have tried the brass disc
advertised...

Hmmmm.............................I can only guess that they got Emagic's
permission to use their name for this site. May I be so bold as to submit
my opinion on some of these titles.
1. Most of them have been around for some years.
2. Four of them I have and 2 of them are the worst collections I've ever
paid good money for. ( There was no facility to audition over the net in
those days) The other two are at least 4 years old and in my opinion well
past their use by date.....stylistically. It's funny that they call "Funky
Drums From Hell" a "new release". What they mean is that it's a new release
on the REX format. I've had that disc for at least 4 years.
It's version 5 that makes it possible for a new advertising angle from
these guys who are selling some fairly tired titles. Maybe the new titles
are great. I don't own them all.
Just my opinion. Buyer beware.
Phil Buckle.

No I don't have that disc.
