New Samples For Download

New Samples For Download

2002-01-08 by Tony Thompson

Hello fellow EXSessive people.

I have just posted some new samples with an EXS instrument on the sample
page on my website at http://www.mightywight.net. I have recently recorded
the playing of local percussionist and drum maker Mick Ticksley of Zendo
Drums (http://www.zendo.demon.co.uk) . I will soon be putting up a a set
of traditional and improvised tabla rhythms, but for starters, there is a
set of 6 different looped Dijeridu drones for you to download. Enjoy!

EXSessive Tiny Bells,
Tip Top.Thanks.

I'm just beginning to use EXS and as I bought it second hand (100 Bucks from
some dodgy geezer at Sam Ash in LA) I don't have a manual.
Does anyone know where I can get one in pdf.?

I just bought a new ESX24 last week and my manual says it's
Version 2.0 September 2001. Whereas the link above is
Version 1.0 June 2001.

It sure would be nice if emagic would spend a little time/money
updating the support portion of their site, they have "Tips &
Tricks" for Logic from version 2.6 !!

I'm sure I've seen an EXS24 v2 manual there before.... To be honest there is
no real differences that are worth noting. I have a paper copy of the v1
manual and my housemate has the v2 - The update that was linked to has all
the useful stuff from the v2 manual - mainly clarification of file
management. The app itself hasnt really changed much. Due for a major update
if you ask me as its left behind feature wise by other soft samplers :-(

Hey dont diss it. Its not "out of date support" but providing support for
older products as well. Many people still use older versions of logic. Many
still use notator on an Atari. Its good to see some level of official
acknowledgement of that.

Why don't you send this to support@... ? Maybe even
info@... (they do the new info site).
I agree that the Emagic website needs a little cleaning and updating.
