Groove Control yet again

I'm new to sampling, and just bought the EXS24. It seems like there is a lot of enthusiasm concerning Spectrasonics and its products on this group, and there is a bit of information about the so-called Groove Control-concept on the company's homepage. However, I wonder if it can be boiled down to this: As a buyer of for instance the product "Liquid Grooves", you get the "rythm structure" as well as the samples to go with it, which means you get a bunch of loops that are ready to be used as is. However, you can also replace i.e. the bass drum in a loop with another bass drum if you feel like it, or remove the hi hats in the part if you don't like them etc etc. Is this the way it works, apart from the stuff about how you can change the tempo and have the loop adjust automatically? So basically, it saves you a lot of time fiddling with your own loops? Best regards, Henrik Jensen
