What you will want to check out is Logics "Audio to Score" feature,
available from the sample editor.
When being done with that all you need to do is to transpose all the notes
to the appropriate EXS note, a transformer does that very fast. Depending on
your source material this is working very well.

hiya...

if your kick/snare track is just that, a kick drum track without any
hats... and the kicks and snares are reasonably separate... you can
convert audio to score.
it should give you two notes that can be placed on the same notes as the
kick and snare (use matrix editor).
I do it all the time when mixing a particular band bacause their
tracking site is shite (their rehearsal studio)...
