Yes, although I currently have all samples on my system drive.
EXS Samples on system drive, normal audio tracks on audio 
drive. Helps spread out the  disk i/o procedures.

I've gotten EXS24 to work with my full Library now. It appears that 
if I boot Logic 5 from the Logic 5 application Icon in the Logic 
folder, I then load an EXS24 which is slow, it will not load any of 
my patches, but if I boot Logic 5, and save the it as a name such 
as Template on my desktop, I can then load EXS24 quickly, and 
it will read all of my patches, and the "untitled file disappears 
from the patch window.

Now the problem I am getting is if I try and boot Logic 5 from 
the Template I have on my desktop, I know get an error saying
"can't find the program that created EXS.res.shel".  If I boot Logic 
5 directly and then load recent documents "Template", it works 
fine......

I was having this problem as well by trying to boot an alias of the 
Logic 5 application from the desktop, it will say it can't find the 
application that created it, any ideas?

Have you tried rebuilding your desktop files?

Thanks for the tip, got it all working now, setting up an Autoload 
song seems to have fixed it, I have never worked with an 
Autoload, always just left a template file on the desktop.
