EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I have recently upgraded to XP everything works great outside of 
Logic 5.  when I convert the akai samples in the EXS editor the 
program tends to lock up.  Sometimes even seems to cause the 
computor to shut down.  Then when I rebot and load Logic the samples 
are there.  I don't know if this is a problem with logic or a driver 
problem with my sound card etc.  I am using the DS2416 with the most 
current asio drivers from yamaha and also constantly have asio error 
messages even when the program is not playing.  ANy Ideas??
