Re: [exs] Prosamples EXS libraries

I Would not spend a dime on the Prosamples series. In fact if I would have known how bad the Prosamples that I bought were going to be I would not even take them for free. About 6 months ago I bought a couple of the Brass Pro Samples and also Vol 18 Steinway Grand Piano Pro Samples series, and I must say the the Prosamples series I have tried are complete utter trash. I have found countless free sound font samples that are much better than the prosamples series. The Pro Samples series are horrible. I have not heard the original samples from Quantum Leap Brass or from Ultimate Piano but my guess is these Prosamples don't do the original librarys justice, let's hope not any way. Stay clear of the Prosamples series. Then again maybe the drums are better. If you are looking for good drum samples I like Pure Drums from Yellow tools and that is native for exs24 I also love Backbeat from Spectrasonics, very incredible and the Akai version translated perfect to exs24. In my experience you get what you pay for. As far as free drum sound fonts and other sound fonts I also found this site useful: http://www.bananaquartz.com/ hope this helps.
