Just thought I would chime in with a quick comment.
I own Skippy's Big Bad Beats and really love it. While I have used only a
few just as they are
adding them to live drum tracks has really modernized the sound also mixing
them with older libraries like liquid grooves has added years of life to
them. The sound quality is excellent. ANd Skippy(aka John) has been very
available for questions. Give the Mp3 demos a listen.

I would have to disagree completely, and agree with Phil's
comments. I have found Skippy's Big Bad Beats completely
useless(as have most of my programming friends), can hardly
find anything useful when going through and auditioning them
with tracks. This selection is nothing but dated, and weird
combinations of sounds, that don't really mesh.
Just my opinion........

On the other hand, Noizebox does have a more modern twist, but
could benefit from fills, endings etc. Can't agree more on Retro
Funk and Backbeats and Metamorphisis, very useful, and have
helped complete many a project, although Metamorphisis does
suffer from some of the dated effects of Distorted Reality........
