not multitimbral ?

not multitimbral ?

2002-08-12 by tvp

forgive me if i'm missing something here... what do you mean that the exs24
isn't multitimbral? you select a new audio instrument and you pull up
another exs24... doesn't that qualify for a multitimbral instrument??

also, could someone take the time (even via my personal email
aps@...) to run over the multiple out issue? can't you route
you instruments to any stereo pair your hardware will allow you to?

truly confused and looking for answers...

Means each instance would have 16 midi channels each (like Halion). Most
people were concerned with multiple outputs (as was I) so when you used a
kick and a snare from the same instance, they routed to different outputs. I
think the way Emagic implemented this is pretty neat. -Jer

Ah yes....but Halion IS multitimbral. I'm hopeful for the EXS...
