EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Anyone have experience with this (admittedly obscure) CD-ROM?  Originally formatted for 
Akai S3000 series.   I've tried translating it via EXS24 Akai convert, Translator, and CD Extract 
demo.  Nobody wants to recognize this disc.  

No indication that it is a mixed-mode CD-ROM.  Btw, when I tried to use it with my E4XT, the 
sample mapping seemed out of whack.

There must be a good reason, are you on PC or Mac ?

Sorry, I'm on a Mac G4 dual 450.  CD Extract ejects the disc.  Translator sees the disc and the 
word 'Sub cell' appears underneath Audio Disc.  After that, nothing.

What version of CD/DVD driver are you using? Newer versions cause problems, 
try an older version. Unfortunately I don't have at the moment a location 
of one.

In Translator it should list as Akai CD. Clicking under the Mac Volume 
Audio CD won't do anything (subcell).

I think there should be some effort made to confine these Translator issues
to the translator support forum. I think we have captured the sentiments of
Mac Translator users (of which I am a member) accurately enough. I would
love to see a movement away from Translator complaints and company responses
to this list. I'm not happy about it either. But I'm getting sick of reading
the same complaints over and over again.
