Mmmm so zipping it up to a couple of floppy's doesn't appeal then ;-)

How does it sound compared to Peter Szeidlercheks (spelling?) collection - I
didn't think there was another option until I saw this site, now I don't
know where to point my credit card..
Anyone ?

Matt,

There are many options, especially if you're willing to have different
companies' instruments or ensembles. Dan Dean makes excellent Giga woodwind
and brass ensembles (which we can now read), there's Quantum Leap Brass, by
Nick Phoenix, the fabulous Gary Garritan String Orchestra, the upcoming SAM
horns, London Orchestral Percussions, etc. I would stay away from the
Miroslav Vitous collection. It's ten years old or so, and way, way,
waaaaayyy overpriced. Another interesting development is the upcoming (this
fall/winter) Quantum Leap Orchestra. Keep in mind that the full orchestra
collections (Vienna or Quantum) are going to be quite expensive. For more
info, point your mouse to the Sample Librairies Discussions section of
Northern Sounds fantastic forum. You can always do a search of their
archives and find a discussion of a library you're interested in:
