Odd problem ......will not display instruments with "D" as first letter

An odd bug, in Logic 5.2, on Mac OS 9.2.2, when going to load a virtual instrument, if any of the instrument names begin with a capital letter "D", it omits the letter, but lists the rest of the instrument name. I go into the VST Plug Ins folder and rename the instrument using a small letter "d", and it displays properly in the virtual instrument menu. Not a huge problem of course, but an odd bug........
