Hi group, wise folks, experts,

I've got some akai samples (.wav and .akp files) on my HD that I 
would like to make use of in the EXS24.
When I select "akai import", EXS seems to be not interested in HD 
data but tells me it is waiting for a CD. So in my childly innocence 
I burned those samples on CD, but alas, EXS kindly ignored that when 
inserted. It then came to me that probably akai sample CDs are in 
another format than Mac CDs.
But which format would that be, then? And how to achieve it?

Any help greatly appreciated.
