Is this a free giga file? If so, can you post the URL for it? That way we
can download it and tell you if it's the file or if your download was
corrupted somehow.

O thanks. Here is the URL:

http://www.boldersounds.com/free.asp

I decompress the file and put the ".gig" file in my Sampler Instruments folder.
When I do a "gig convert" I get a dialogue saying to put them in the Sampler
Instruments folder (where they already exist). When I try to load them as an
instrument, the files are greyed out and inaccessible.

thanks for any help...

greg

Re: [exs] giga conversion - works and "best of bolder" is fantastic!

It was me who wasn't working so great after all. I put them where it says and it
converts them on the fly. I can select the incoming .gig file in the instrument
selection window and everything is fine. In fact I bought the "Best of Bolder" CD
and the instruments are truly beautiful!

Rex2 or ACIDized

2002-10-24 by Matt

O.K. I now what a rex2 file is, but can anyone tell me please what is the
difference between the information stored in an ACIDized file and a rex2
file ?
