[exs] 56 Stratocaster Giga (Mac)

[exs] 56 Stratocaster Giga (Mac)

2002-11-15 by Paul Martinson

I had seen some recent posts about using the 56 Stratocaster Giga samples on
a mac. I deciced to go on blind faith and picked up the 4 CD Rom set today.
I was able to self extract the files into .gig using OSX with the MacPAR
Deluxe program: http://www.xs4all.nl/~gp/MacPAR_deLuxe/MacPARdeLuxe.dmg.sit
I am very happy about the samples. They are exactly what I was looking for.
The CD Roms included a couple of .gig files that did not need to be
extracted. To extract the others make sure to copy all the files from the 4
CD Roms to your desktop or hard drive. You can then extract the Bridge
samples which ends up being about 1.2 gigs and the Neck samples is around 1
gig. I hope this helps any one else who is interested in this set of
samples.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
