Norton disk EXS 24

2002-11-20 by tun.weber@education.lu

Cause my Hard disk was very bad, fragmented aso.. I let Norton Disk
Doktor do his work, he did not fine !!!
I now have a new folder called "Lost and found" where there are lots
of .exs files as well as lots of aiff files.
So they are not anymore at there places where they should be, and exs
can't find thm anymore !
Does anybody know how to manage this bullshit???

First run Disk First Aid (if you're on a Mac) to see if anything's
wrong with your disk or the files. Then simply put those files back
where they belong -- i.e. the .exs files in the Sampler Instruments
folder, and the aiff files anywhere you like (doesn't matter where
they are). Not a big deal really. You only have to wonder why
Norton put those files there. Were they damaged? Or were they
invisible somehow, or deleted from the HD's table of contents without
really being deleted...? Anyway, Norton moving them to this folder
has probably fixed the problem, so I guess you can safely move them
anywhere you want them now.
