In ReCycle, there's an option to "transmit as one shot/slice" (don't
remember exactly, need to insert the CD to start it, which seems to be
*somewhere*). This should not be activated.
Unfortunately, some people offer their REX files in this format (I remember
one CD from Computer Music), so you need ReCycle to re-save them.

Is this a .rex file, or .rx2?

O.K. I take it all back. You're spot on - cheers !!!!!!!!!

In recycle, there is a small icon which looks like a wav with a red line
above it (about third icon in on the top line. You just need to click it and
re-save - very easy to miss, and this is probably why breakbeats only missed
it on some of there rex2 files...

I'm not Garth but I can tell you that Logic 5.3 (Mac under OS9.2.2)
translates GIGA to EXS very nicely. Not sure if that's what you
want to know, though.

Yes, thank you Sascha, you are right about the export option...I
thought that only applied to exporting as wav or aif...now i have to
go back and resave all those rx2 files...i wish they had a batch
process...thanks again.
