In your keycommand list, you'll find KCs called "next/previous plugin
settings". These are doing the job for me.
Problem with synths such as Crystal is, as soon as you load a bank (or use
the default bank for that matter), you'll only be able to select the patches
by the small "program" pulldown on the Logic part of the GUI. Those won't
respond to the KCs mentioned above, these are only valid for Logic's very
own plugin settings format. So you gotta convert everything first.

Sascha

Create a new fader, set its out-definition to "Program" and cable it
  into the VSTi's channel strip.

Nice, this is indeed working with all synths offering such a "generic"
program pulldown. Didn't know that, I thought it'd only work with
instruments offering a dedicated program menu.

Thanks,
Sascha

Crossfading in EXS24 II

2002-12-10 by Murray McDowall

Hi,

Has anyone got crossfades with the mod wheel (for example) working -- eg
progressively shifting from one sound to another using the modwheel. The
EXS24 MkII pdf is a little skimpy on this.

Regards,
Murray

That was my point exactly. Next/Prev Settings work great, but I was asking
specifically about the "program" you were referring to. Thanks, Sascha...

Thanks. Thought about that too. Take too long, though.

I think it's not too long, becuase when you select the program and pres Save plug-in setting , the name of the present it's allredy in the save dialog. I do this for PSP84, becuase they came with presents like Crystal.

And if you want to get fancy, you could type in the names of all the
progs in a TEXT-style fader, and have the fader behave like a popup
menu...
