i think we are talking about diferent problems here... my exs does play...
it is just not thight at all rusulting from "too much" controller or pitch
bend data. i have been experimenting A LOT, with no success. and on ANY
system that I ran the test on the exs failed!

could be. yes. 

but the localized os? could that interfere?
and the motherboard: i checked many mainboards by now... all the same.

well i gotta trust all you saying it works fine... lucky you, because - no
joke - the exs to me is not doing the job. i can't be sure to hear all the
notes i asked for... than again_that's funky!_

it would be nice to get a comment from emagic on this.
