CDExtract and Sonic Implants .gig

Got the latest version of CDExtract for Mac about two weeks ago. Bought Sonic Implants Symphonic Strings, loaded it into a PC, burned CDs of the .gig files, copied them to a MAC (new dual 1gig, 1.25 gig RAM). Took around 14 GB on the HD. Then ran CDExtract to convert to EXS. The batch mode was what attracted me to CDExtract, instead of having to do one file at a time in the EXS. However, CDExtract skipped converting many of the sounds/setups in batch mode, and in fact didn't always handle single conversions correctly. BTW, the conversion by the EXS version II (Logic 5.5) of the same files was just fine, though release samples didn't get converted .... but I still had to do it one file at a time. Anyone else tried using CDExtract on really large .gig files? Or on SI Symp Strings?
