hi all group people :)

i'm searching for good and realistic piano,

i had one called jazzpiano, witch i found in the internet but i lost 
it in harddrive crash

and i haven't found it afterwards

any hints?

and i couldn't find by ftp either

Statement January 19, 2003:
In January 2003 I have received a number of mails about the unavailability
of the AKAI ftp-side. I don't know if this means that the AKAI site has been
closed for good or this is a temporary situation, as the site always was
slow and unstable, when available. I do not have the WAV-files available for
downloading, so it makes no sense asking me for these WAV-files.

Been down for sometime, I'd say. Sure you still want to wait...? ;-)

Yep - did that a few weeks ago. :-)

Then found that (unless I'm mistaken, which I hope I am, and which is
quite likely cos I've barely even played with the EXS24 yet) the EXS24
only imports Akai stuff from akai-formatted CDs, not from hard drive. :-(

Yep - quite a job with a 33.6k modem! =:-O

And at this point I'd like to HIGHLY recommend the US$10 Mac shareware
program "ViaHTP" which allowed me to do the aforementioned download (and
many others) with a slow-ish modem and an ISP that has a 3-hour limit.
Sending off me money as soon as I get me next unemployment-benefits
payment, I am! :-)

Strange - I successfully downloaded the "Splendid Grand Piano" b/w Feb
23rd and March 3rd. Had absolutely no hassles with the Akai ftp site.

Been down for sometime, I'd say (the Akai ftp site)


I don´t think it´s down, there´s just a limit to how many people who can download from this site at one time. I just checked and I had no problem getting there.

EXS usage.

But is are there any resources for good free EXS Drumkits on the net?.

I have heaps od great synthy drum type stuff .. but I really need some
realisic funk/jazz acoustic kits.

Any help would be great ..

It is up ok but ssslllloooooowwwwwww. I am D/Ling now but on my DSL line it
is 12kbit/sc at best

I use the Miroslav Vitous a fair bit...especially for just feature note 
licks in the higher register it sometimes works fine...mn

Check out the Bosendorfer at http://www.bardstownaudio.com - One of 
the best natural sounding acoustic pianos I have ever heard!

has anybody tried it yesterday or even today ?
i get an incorrect login alert... wasn't like this a few days ago. has  
the access benn restricted ?
