EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hello all.  I am new to logic and new to your group so please be kind 
if this question is stupid.  I have a pc running win XP, logic audio 
5.5 and the exsp 24 with the update provided to me from logic.  I put 
an akai disc in my cd player and win XP can't read it.  Additionally, 
exsp doesn't read it either.  I did RTFM and followed the 
instructions provided, however, I have not been able to load the 
files (in fact neither logic or exsp 24 sees the files either).  To 
make matters worse, I just order three more akai disks.  Please 
help!  Thank you.

Hi there,

did you hit the options button in the EXS and choose AKAI import? 
Then in that window it says waiting for AKAI CD, so that's when 
you're supposed to put it in the drive.

At least here on the Mac.
