EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hello group,

people keep mentioning that .gig files can be loaded into EXS24, but I cant 
seem to do it, can anybody help me out ??

I use EXSP24 in cubase on a mac..

EXS is not EXSP -- that might explain it.  With the EXS, if you put a 
.gig file in the Sampler Instruments folder, it will be seen and 
converted as soon as you load it the 1st time (afai recall).  I would 
expect the EXSP to not be able to do this, since the EXSP is just a 
sample player and can't create new EXS instruments.

Yes that probally does expalin it.... But EXS24 does not work with Cubase 
does it, and I am still using OS9.2.2, not OSX, so the Logic versions 
available to me will not install on my computer..

Umm ... Logic 6 installs on OS 9.

No, it doesn't, since the EXS is built into Logic and not a separate 
program or plugin.

All Logic versions are available as OS9 versions.  Since 5.2 there 
are OS X versions as well, but no version is OS X only.
