Maestro Tools for GOS

Maestro Tools for GOS

2003-04-22 by Ned Bouhalassa

I'm not sure if it was Mike or Julie who asked but, re: Maestro Tools for
GOS being applied to EXS, well... I couldn't find the connection. It's
clear the the program was written for GigaStudio users, not EXS users. It's
also quite a complex environment, one that would be, I think, quite hard to
port over to controlling the EXS. But hey, somebody out there with lotsa
time on their hands prove me wrong!

Still, GOS does offer a great string collection. It's up to EXS now to make
the next step in terms of programming options, I say (like what's promised
for VSL, for eg).

Ned,

Check out the *Virtual* Maestro Tools environment that's on the latest
update disc. Some nutcase managed to not only duplicate all the
original functions, but also improve on it!! It's kinda meant to be
used with a separate gigastudio machine I think, but it works just fine
with EXS as well. Just import the layer and then play around with it.
The EXP options aren't needed, but the ALT and LEG patches work great
with it...

cheers,

Mike

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
