EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I've got a Windows PC running WinME.  I purchased EXS24 for use with 
Logic Platinum.  Should I use the Delta 1010 which uses ASIO2?  Or 
should I use the Digi001 which has direct support without the need 
for ASIO?  I need the 8 analog I/O because I use a Mackie 32:8 analog 
mixer.  I don't care about use with other applications, I just want 
the card which gives the absolute best timing because I build my own 
drum loops and cannot afford to have that fall apart.

I also own two PCs.

1) P3/650, 512MB, 20 Gig 7200rpm HD.  Intel BX Chipset.

2) AMD T-Bird 1Ghz, 512MB, 30 Gig 7200rpm HD. Via KT133 Chipset on an 
Asus A7V motherboard.

Which CPU/motherboard should I use?  I've heard good and bad about 
A7V. I've heard good about BX.  Obviously the trade-off is CPU power.
